Why?

I haven't been a member here for long, but I've been here long enough to see that most of the people who haven't do anything wrong get banned like crazy. Marketing Thug and GetJimmy are just examples. You (as in the staff) aren't doing your jobs right when you are trying to show all the new people that if they disobey rules, they will get banned. The new members never really notice this stuff and they never get to know what the people are banned for, so this is basically just getting rid of valued, senior members. You guys aren't making any sense in my mind.

Does anyone else have any comments or debates?

I want the staff members to realize that the older, senior members are basically the heart of this site. Banning them is the dumbest thing they could do. I understand they might have broken a rule, but it's not like they were cussin out staff members.

We (usually) don't know why someone gets banned.
The staff has a hard job, and they do the best they can.

But banning people for stuff so small that no one knows about won't help shape people into place.

so...your saying you want seniors members to have the utmost privileges and be allowed to do whatever they want?

No, I'm saying that they shouldn't be banned so fast for little stuff like that. They should start getting PMs and stuff from staff members when the staff is getting uncomfortable about the stuff they are doing.

Actually the older is not an exception. if they broke the rules, they will be banned too. It's still ok because most cases your banned will be unbanned soon so it's mean you still can come back to join DP with a better behaviour. If you never learn you will get a permanent ban.
