I believe most of pp users don't know they can safe money using pp.

I will share something really useful: Paypal allow you to have 2 pp accounts.

    From pp Help:
    Q - Can I have a PayPal Personal and a Premier/Business Account?
A - PayPal allows members to have one Personal account and one Premier or Business account. However, each account must contain an unique email address, bank account and credit card.

    Thats the secret.

Before accept payment from your clients ask them if payment comes from pp funds or credit card.

If payment comes from pp funds, give them your personal pp account (you wont pay any fee).

    Nice tip, no? ;)

Although it seems nice but it is certainly not permitted under the terms of the contract. I am sure that you have read it before you signed up with Paypal.

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/UserAgreement/ua/USUA-outside#receive-policy

You do know that if you do this, you will be breaching your agreement with Paypal and just be prepared for the consequences.

Paypal is a for-profit business and in order for it to provide you their services, they need to make money to cover cost.

Well, you can, surely sell. But its really not meant for frequent sellers. Like if you sell something once in a month or few months, there is no problem with that.

Nice tip. But my paypal accounts are to valuable for me to screw around. Thanks for the tip though. Could be useful for people who don't sell regularly.

I am with Eddy2099 here. Technically it is possible for you to create 2 separate acounts and use one to receive funds that have heavy fees attached. I toyed with this idea myself because the hefty fees were making me sick. But I dug a little deeper into Paypal and discovered the clause that eddy2099 has posted above. I suppose you could try it if you're the risk taking type and if you dont intend to receive more than a couple of payments every few months or so. Else, I'd strongly caution against it. You dont want to make Paypal angry!

Sure I have read it. I see it is a so polemical thread.

Well, when I posted it I just wanted to let others know they may have 2 pp accounts as most of them thinks they can't.

The option to use it to save some money can be used with discretion. I believe several members are doing it without any problem.

But I agree to you pp may take action to avoid it.

And if you get caught with PayPal, your account will be limited and you'll be asked to pay the complete fees, including which would have been sent to your personal account regardless of the funds.
