Why i Dont get Any Traffc from Yahoo Search?

I am not getting any traffic from yahoo searches why ? and even Live Search doesnt help to drive any traffic. i get the traffic only from google.

is it may be because most of the people use google ? or is there any other reason for it .

 

You do get very low traffic from live search, but u will get high quality clicks and better ROI than google

 

It really depends on how your sites are optimized. I tend to get 4x traffic from Yahoo that converts much better than traffic from Google. I will take that Yahoo traffic all day.

 

Yeah, I get solid Yahoo traffic from some of my sites. I would optimize your titles, which seem to be something that Yahoo and MSN pays a lot of attention to.

 

even in SERP it's hard to make my keywords ranked in yahoo... but my keywords in google is in top 10... but my backlinks in yahoo is higher than in google...

 

I'm on the same boat, no traffic from yahoo or Live

 

i get 1.3% traffic from live.com and almost none from yahoo

 

cuz everyone uses google
don't worry about yahoo

 

when I look at my logs I wonder the same thing as almost all my traffic comes from G -

I think it used to be that if were listed in Yahoo's directory it would help you in their search engine results but not so much any more -

Any tips for ranking well in other SE's welcome!

I think most of us here gets more traffic from Google than any other Search Engines.

 

I prefer Yahoo users to be honest. They click on ads and buy more than the users who come in via Google. Someone has mentioned something similar above and there have been a few posts on DP discussing this as well.

If you dismiss Yahoo traffic, you fail as a webmaster. You want as much traffic from as many sources as possible.

I found yahoo seems has been little update yesterday.
my Adulu.com getting traffic from yahoo.
I think will getting traffic day by day though only 1 visitor yesterday.

 

I typically get far more visitors from G than from Y and MSN combined. This is not the correct market share each SE owns, so I tend to believe there is something else. Haven't been able to find why though.

 

I would also worry about yahoo and live. I get good traffic from all 3

 

Hi i am a SEO person. I understood your question you get most of the traffic from GOOGLE but not from yahoo because most of the people use google rather than yahoo

 

Actually search engine traffic is depend on country. visitor are using different search engine in different location. suppose New Zealand people most probably prefer Xtra.co.nz (Yahoo NZ). US people use Google, AOL and so on......

I also have this problem i get very little traffic from yahoo, its ok saying dont worry about yahoo, but every hit counts and its frustrating to see ur competators at the top of somwhere, where you cant even get one hit from lol !

Google is volume. MSN/Yahoo are quality. You will have less clicks, but better conversions.

And CONVERSIONS are the name of the game.

I'll take a 1/50 over a 1/3000 any day.
