I want to know how my sites are performing. I guess different types of sites have different ctr. I have seen claims of click throughs of 15% which seems very high to me. What kind of ctr are other people here getting?

how is the best under 3%? can you define that?

it really depends on niche and traffic.

15% is really good CTR, but seems maybe thats on low traffic?

The best CTR is the highest that you can get without employing any devious means.

It depends. Vary much for particular sites. From 1% to even 5% (if we talking about average and constant CTR).

    That's exactly it.

If you have legit traffic (and everything else is good) you can have a 100% CTR and google adsense isn't going to complain in the least.

I average a 30%+ CTR most of the time. My lowest (lately) has been 10%.

I see a similar range and no of some niches that would go higher. You need a good layout, follow Google's guidelines and then fine tune with a tool like www.crazyegg.com. It also helps to people who click on ads come to your site, in other words use pay per click to get pay per click. It's called Adsense arbitrage.

I get average of 45% but that's because my ads really blend into my template. For normal cases, 15% to 30% should be very good.

lolz.. there is no certain limit of CTR..
