It's a very unique concept with not many players in the field, a forum for proxy owners and users to mingle, plus the other added benefits. It is a well-known and respected forum for proxy website owners and users.

The forum currently has 12 VIP lifetime members who paid $29 to $39 each. Right now it's promoting lifetime VIP memberships for $9.99 to increase the member numbers. However, the new owner can set up whatever member system they want.

Otherwise, it's not well monetized with ads (Adsense, text links). I was using it as a resource to boost my own proxy website network. The forum has generated over $50 in Google Adsense since June 11th (when I created the channel for it).

I do not actively promote or market the site. It has been on auto-pilot for 2 months or so. I did have it submitted to a directory submission service (500 PR4+ directories) and a social bookmarking service (101 bookmarking sites) 2 months ago.

You expect $9000 for a domain and a forum, with a site that makes $50 revenue all time? I dont think so.

 

Obviously you're missing the point here, this forum allows me to make $1400 a month with my proxy websites.

Without it, most proxy owners make less than $100 a month.

That's equal to 15 days of revenue I get with my proxies which I promoted through this forum.

 

why would i bid the starting bid if the reserve is so high?

It has made over $50 in Adsense and over $350 in VIP membership fees in the past 4 months. Plus the kick in the ass it gave my proxies. Why wouldn't it be worth more than $650?

 

i am a member of this forum it is listed 1st in yahoo for a few certain keywords i have search for on yahoo and the forum is quite biz if i had the funds ill buy it at 3000 easy as it has so much going for it.

I am also a member of www.proxyusers.net. I am certain this forum will have an outstanding growth, simply because there are not many forums of this type. I agree with fox-match - If I had the funds, I would seriously consider buying this forum.

The previous owner did not transfer the license to me. So I never had the license details. However, vBulletin tells me licenses are not transferable. I don't believe that. A license with them is around $100.
