Hostgator or Hostmonster

I want to buy domains to run affiliate store and personal blogs.

Which is better between Hostgator and Hostmonster.

I need some advices.

Should I go for "Swamp" plan ?

 

It looks too big for me, but it depends on who much big the site is (big enough??).

 

I've had a dedicated server with hostgator for almost a year now. Very happy. Never used hostmonster.

 

May be I should start with the baby plan first and when my site grow bigger I will go for the swamp plan.

 

I haven't got any problem with hostgator. You can work with them.

 

Just take note that Hostmoster is owned by Bluehost, so anything you see regarding them (good or bad) will also apply. The main negative seems to be constant issues with triggering a very strict CPU usage enforcement script on their servers, resulting in CPU Exceeded errors for your visitors.

 

hostgator is the best,i never heard hostmoster before.

 

Hostmonster is cheaper, but hostgator has more flexibility. Have sites at both hosts

 

HostGator..but believe me, you can find much nicer and better hosting deals on this forum than hostgator. I used em for a while and although there support is decent, they are over priced and have some issues

 

Some of my sites are hosted at hostgator and I never had a problem within 6-7 months, so I suggest to go with them.

 

I feel more confidence to use Hostagor. :d

You will be happy with the baby plan and you can always move up to the swamp as your sites grow and you develop more sites.

hostmonster allow more domains

 

Iv been with hostmonster for approx 4 months hosting about 50 domains. No problems, fast support. They have my vote

 

yes hostmonster is good, never tried hostgator
