I am writing an eBook (my first ever) on something important I am working on. I am using Primo Pdf software for it and using ms word for writing. The problem is that when I print the ebook in pdf format the hyper links are not working. The color changes to blue as if they are hyper linked but when I try to click on them nothing happens. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
Unfortunately the software you're using doesn't support working hyperlinks. Douglas Saltsman (a PrimoPDF developer) confirms this in their support forum here. - Matt P.S: I don't really think this is suitable for the General Marketing forum, do you? If you want to avoid incurring infractions be a little more careful where you start your topics.
Hi, is your links full urls or anchor text links? There is a difference here. Use CutePDF or other free word to pdf converters. Most will convert full urls ie http://mywebsite.com into clickable links but wouldn't convert anchor text links at all. This is why I like Neevia the most! It is the only free service I know that converts anchor text links into clickable links. Go to convert.neevia.com
I use Open Office to write the ebooks and then convert them to pdf. It's free and it works well. It also has other types of applications that are useful.
check out: http://convert.neevia.com/ if you have the ebook in MS word and use their online converter, it usually works great. Book has to be under 1mb otherwise you could try downloading the 30 day fully functional trial version of adobe - http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/ hope that helps
