WidgetBucks is looking like a decent adsense replacement

Well I'm on the lookout for a post about someone...anyone...getting paid.

 

I'll be glad to oblige as soon as I hit the $50 mark!

 

as noted many times in this and other threads, this program just went live several days ago. hence, the first time anyone will get paid is December 15th (end of October period + 45 days).

 

well after this i dropped in an email to them and this is the response I got

I am happy with their customer services..Atleast they dun ban people on the first go plus they care to give proper responses unlike adsense's mechanical one's..

I m not entirely sure about this one,it seems a little dodgy.I suggest someone post a check to see.

 

I'm trying it on a limited basis and I've had over 6000 impressions but haven't had a single click yet. Perhaps my website visitor are too savvy and the slick interface tends to make them ignore the ads. Honestly, they look great, the Flash format is very nice looking but I think most people put blinders on to ads and that's why Google Adsense's approach of simplicity is more likely to result in clicks.

It seems the only two things I make money off are Adsense and CJ Ebay affiliate program. Nothing else has ever worked for me... but I'll give WidgetBucks a few months of tests and see what happens.

 

I think whether or not you get success with WB depends on your site. If your site is technology related, and you have a lot of product reviews, you are bound to get a good CTR. On many sites, however, it will not work as well as AdSense. I guess it's time to experiment

 

40 clicks no earning with widgetbucks?
my yesterday earnings 41$ for 143 clicks

 

OK just signed up with WB and place the widget on one of my blogs
lets see what WB can do for me
