So here we have one of my prized possessions in which a lot of work has gone into - www.AmsterdamTravelGuide.net

The custom site design alone would cost you a few hundred dollars alone. In addition, the site features unique content that will never be used or sold again.

All you need to do is replace the Adsense ID's and/or feature affliate programs on the site to get it ready. Add a bit of marketing and your off off to the races.

Here's another bonus for the new owner. I will allow you to choose one logo out of the four featured below for this site and will integrate it free of charge. You'll have to allow me a couple of days to do so after the auction since I'm terribly busy nowadays, but like I said, it's free. Logo #1 is already on the site, but here are the rest:

This site is new so assume no traffic or revenue. Domain is with Namecheap and it is a free push. It expires in Sept. 16, 2008, about 11 months from now.

I am literally selling this at a loss at the BIN price I am about to set below. A site like this would cost you approximate $300-$500 from a starving web designer, logo designer, and copywriter. I'm not necessarily starving, just the opposite actually, but I bought this site with the intention of keeping it, but I am way too busy with my e-commerce sites to be messing around with as many sites as I have.

Here are the terms of this auction:

    Starting Bid: $25
    Bid Increments: $10
    Reserve: Yes
    BIN: $250
Ends: When BIN is met, when an appealing offer is made, or to highest bidder 72 hours (3 days) from the timestamp of this thread.

Other travel sites I have up for sale that you might be interested in (these sites are sold separately and are not included with this sale):

    Barbados Travel Guide

That site is where the previous DP owner "staged" all of his websites that he was building and selling here. I also discovered that site by accident when running the sites I purchased from him through Copyscape. I then contacted him to alert him to the fact that all of the sites he owned, and had already sold, was showing up when the sites were ran through Copyscape. I requested that he at least take any of the sites I purchased down. He happily obliged and apologized.

This is actually a good thing that you bring this up. If any potential buyers want to see what the other sites he has up on that domain looks like, feel free to compare the difference.

I have nothing to hide, so thanks for bringing that to light if anyone else is concerned.

I appreciate the honesty :) My concern is that, because the pages are still indexed in major search engines and were when your sites went online, the content has been marked as duplicate (thus supplimental) by Google and friends.

Yep, content is original. As PalSys states, the previous owner first posted it under his domain until he sold it and was alerted to the fact that he should take it down. If you haven't yet, run it the website address through Copyscape yourself for verification.

I can see your point, Palsys. But being an experienced SE optimizer myself, I can absolutely guarantee that this will have little bearing on the ultimate outcome for this site. It's not just about textual content that SE's look at, but the whole shabang. Need proof? Look at an old site of mine at mangosteen-juice[dot]tv. I disliked the domain name so much that I then carbon copied the site and launched it under a new domain xmangosteenjuice[dot]com. Check out which site has a Pagerank 4...the one that is supplemental. The new site that came after is the one indexed at #31 for it's main keyword (xango) out of 1,820,000 results.

Google picked up the new site within 2 weeks and dumped the old site. However, both sites are still indexed in both Yahoo and MSN.

From my experience, people here who purchase sites take them at least a month to changeout Adsense ID's, affiiliate links, and much less market the site.

I might also add that there is no way whatsoever that these sites will end up becoming a supplemental result since at this point, it has no equal out there on the net. Googlebot's next visit will remedy this situation with no problem, if it hasn't already.

Care to place a bid today?
