I added 2 widgets on every page of my site last night....... Impressions are refreshing every hour or so, but the count is very inaccurate! This is what I got as of a few minutes ago.........for today. My Google Adsense is showing 4,560 impressions taken the same time. with 200 clicks......... WidgetBucks is refreshing every few hours but isnt keeping up with the count........ has anyone else noticed this?
That may be true.. Adsense loads quite fast, but widgets takes some time to load. About the clicks, if the ads are not contextually targetted, clicks would be less for sure.
I think that my stats are delayed today as well. My impressions and click totals arent what they usually are.
I am experiencing the same problem with my logs! I think they are trying to work around the problem. But i was reluctant to share my logs here just like u did as i suppose its not legal. Please correct me if I am wrong. thanks and regards
They count about half my impressions which is fine with me since they still make more than adsense for me.
Yes common concern is the load rate and impression count, I have noticed : Impressions count - The widget impression is only counted each time it's fully loaded. Possible Reason - Have you also noticed that widget doesn't display unless you scroll down to where the widget is placed - hence does that count as in impression ? Visitors aren't waiting around long enough for widget to load - So the widget impression does not count. Solution - Make sure the page is quick loading, lots of flashy objects, images, videos etc. will cause a really slow site to be frustrating and many visitors wont wait around. Make some intrigue and interest - Create your visitors to stick around : provide some interesting content to ensure they stay around long enough for widgets to load. Check your traffic source - I recently busted one of my large ad' publishers cheating and sending crap hits.
