Hi, Thanks for your interest in this post! I am having a money making blog. This blog is getting at least 60 hits daily from google, but not a single hit from Yahoo. Why is it so? Is it necessary to change any code in this blogger blog? Please help me to increase my Yahoo traffic...
normally if your site is showing up in google, it should come in yahoo also...just wait for a few days..may be your site was not included in the last indexing...try to search your site in yahoo and see if its the latest codes that are being cached. if not wait for a few days. or redo everything....
These search engines are tough to figure out. I would list your site in directories and forums. aokdirectory com and w4directory com
Content is king. Try to optimize your content. Your niche comprises of competitive words so it would be hard. you must compete.
With sixty visitors a day you should not worry about getting traffic from yahoo, but with getting traffic period. Who cares where it comes from. Get good links, make sure headings are coded properly (h1, h2, h3), make good content and if your sector isn't too competitive - or your site is very unique within that niche - your traffic will slowly grow - sometimes with spikes. Yahoo has recently become more like google in its search algorithms. Differences seem to be due to the amount of links crawled and perhaps the value attached to them.
