Google allows some Adwords ads to contain the word "Google" in their ad copy while denying others the same privilege. What gives?
They don't. Show me one ad that contains the word "google" in the ad copy that does not belong to Google. You can place it int he display URL all right. Not the description.
it depends your ad copy...I topo have seen google allowing some one to use "Google" in their ad text.
Topo? I assure you Google do NOT allow the word Google in ANY ads. (I would really like to be proved wrong here as I am writing an article on it!)
Occasionally, one or two do seem to slip through... Just did a search on www.google.co.uk for "google marketing" and saw two adverts that had slipped "Google" into their titles... Both of them were SEM firms - wonder how they did it? http://www.google.co.uk/sponsoredlinks?hl=en&q=google+marketing
I guess maybe to a point google allows it, I think it just depends on the way its used. you can see ads using google here:
Excellent stuff guys. Thank you so much for that. Seems like some agencies have expemptions. That's some great fodder for my application I love being proved wrong. (Unless the upload using editor allows a bypass?)
