How much traffic would you say you get per stumble?

Note to admins: This is the only section I really thought i could post this.

Just wondering, in your experience, how much traffic does your site get per stumble (normally)?
    What about per digg?

    Thanks,
    Dom

Ive actually got more from StumbleUpon.
Used a stumble service here at DP and in a few days was getting $10 a day with adsense...
Then my host took my proxy site down! D'oh!

I generallly get around 250-300 per stumble, but it's always increasing (still get about 4-5 hits per day from certain stumbled articles)

Some folks say they get more than 100 daily unique visitors. I usually get 10 - 15.

WHERE did it jump from "2th place to 2nd place"? In what time frame did you get 10 diggs?

    Thanks,
    Dom :D

On one age I have had well over 3,000 hits and 31 "I liked it"s

On my forum, I've stumbled a few threads which have resulted in 400+ hits with no additional thumbs up.

On some pages I've seen only 10-15 hits.

I have no clue how they do their math, though it does seem that the less you stumble your own site, the more hits it gets from each stumble. The same seems to apply to stumbling through stumble exchanges. When I've traded stumbles I get significantly less then when one happens naturally.

You can't count it per stumble.

There are way to many factors involved in determining traffic per stumble such as:
-the fans that the stumbler has
-the tag of the particular story
-the number of fans who actually click the stumble button
-the number of follow up thumbs up

    etc etc

the algorithm isn't easy to unveil and it won't be easy too. SU has also enabled a system to prevent someone from artificially stumbling the same site over and over again too. The best way to get the most from SU is to participate yourself in the network and stop looking it as a promotion tool.

It depends really on your sites niche. Some niches will do better than others. It also depends on how viral / sticky your content is on the page that is being stumbled. If it's good then more people will vote it up and pass it on, which will result in more traffic. If it's the opposite then your traffic will not last long at all.

In my experience when I stumble a new page I get like 400 uniques the first day, but the second day I don't get more traffic, so I have to stumble another page.... now I code a script to make things easier... check my sales thread at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=515317

If I stumble my own page I'll get about 20-200 hits (I have a pretty good user). If I get over 20-30 stumbles ( quite easily at the freebies section) i can get 1k-10k hits just as easily. Stumble upon is a very important and valuable source of traffic.
