Paypal Merchant Rate (FEES) need advice

I was thinking receiving $310.00 USD -$12.39 USD

paypal takes 12.39 bucks!

So i went ahead and applied for merchant rate i was accepted and now:
Congratulations! You have been approved to receive PayPal's Merchant Rates. Effective immediately, you will be charged 2.5% + $0.55 CAD to receive payments.

I'm not sure how to calculate this so how much will paypal take from me now?

 

Lets say on $310 they will charge 2.5%+$0.55 of $310 which will be equal to $7.75 + $0.55 = $8.30

 

Is that mix of USD and CAD ?

 

i applied for merchant rate and email says i will get
you will be charged 2.5% + $0.55 CAD to receive payments.

but then i recieve payments fees i get LESS but NOT at that 2.5% + 0.55 CAD

why

 

I wouldn't think so. Just CAD I guess.

Is this available for the UK based accounts?

 

Thats available to all accounts.

Just you need to be eligible, which is not easy enough.
