I honestly think that since Social Bookmarking is so integral to many websites, DP should have a "Social Bookmarking" subforum.

    Thanks

Note: I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT AN EXCHANGE, I'M TALKING ABOUT DISCUSSION.

It has been requested many times, the answer is always the same. :)

Is that answer "no" then? :(
    Why is this the answer?

Correct, that is always the answer.
The reason: trading social bookmark votes is against the rules of those services and DP doesn't want to be seen openly endorsing that rule breaking. However, it seems social bookmark exchanges are acceptable (although not endorsed) in the Freebies subforum.

Heh, i know, it doesn't really make sense does it?

But what if people like me want to talk about how to get the most out of stubleupon etc and don't want to exchange votes, do we have to do that in off topic? :S

Oddly enough, DP is known for that. According to some other thread, it's also know for other less then legit activities as well. I may be a seller here, but you'll likely never catch me as a buyer, heh, I don't trust the BST section.

Though, with the popularity of Social Bookmarking, as Social Bookmarking (as in not in trades) it still is popular enough, and likely big enough now, to warrant it's own board. I mean, there are almost as many Social Bookmarking sites now as there is Search Engines and there are almost a dozen SE forums here.

Dominicc2003, I agree with you, we need an SB subforum under Marketing. :)

A subforum for SB exchanges in BST has been requested many times, not a subform to discuss SB strategies and tactics ... I think that will be quite usefull. It could even have an Exchange subforum as well, or not ...
