lol I never said a sign = more support for Paul then there was. It was simply an observation. You took it to breaking it down into a percentage basis trying to attack Paul from something that was simply my observation. This shows that you are scared, the continued attacks on Paul shows you people are scared, if he was so unelectable you wouldn't even give him a second thought My point was simply an observation, in a VERY republican town, with mostly old people, very backwards types, not 'tech' savvy at all a Ron Paul sign was posted before any others. I did not go out of my way, I noticed a sign while driving and looked to see who it was when I drove by. This does not show a percentage, this does not show someone is going to win, it simply shows an observation that he has support above and beyond the net. It also shows he has support in an area where it definitely is not liberal. If anything it shows me that his supporters, even if less in quantity have more in heart backing him than other candidates. Take it how you want to, my point never was on a percentage basis, those scared of Paul decided to go that route. Your fear makes me wonder more than those who are supporting him, you fear him so bad yet he has no chance. If he had no chance why fear him so much? What I posed had nothing to do with a percentage, you made it that
I think they are more scared of Paul than they are of terists. Maybe because Paul poses a direct threat to Fred Thompson, and most people are counting on Fred to kill millions for democracy and nuke our way to world peace.
If you guys were as confident as you claim, you would put your money where your mouths are. I smell fear!
I for one am not I have yet to be fully moved to the Paul camp. However with those out there at the moment Paul is about the only one I'd even consider supporting.
Don't smell the fear, smell the Fred (Thompson). He will kill all of our enemies with nukes and pose with the bodies of dead lobbyists on the cover of "Soldier of Fortune" magazine.
I want someone that will not try to scare me with how bad things are, but would rather tell me how much better things could be. Is that too much to ask for..? Paul's just too hyper for me... Thompson seem like he's about to fart. Mcain just seems like he's on an acid trip, or mental. Ok, on the Mcain front... This guy bitches and complains about how everything is, and tells us all day how he will do everything to change the way it is, meanwhile this nut has been one of the people on the job keeping things the way they are. One thing I respect about Paul, Rudy, and Thompson is that they are not part of the problem... Personally, I think anyone running for office should have to resign from their current position if they are in a public office. What other job on earth can you actively seek a different job, all the while, on the clock at your current job. Must be nice. Romney looks very presidential... He looks the part... Outside of that, I don't see much more that appeals to me.
If it comes as any consolation to you at all mate at least when Hillary comes in as next President to continue the disastrous Bush/Clinton dynasty we will unite together against her. I am predicting that a whole heap of the DP "crazy gang" are going to love me because in all honesty she is going to be as bad as dumb Dubya was.
Nobody's perfect. You're looking at the most honest, principled politician in modern history Hyper= 'Honestly passionate', but he does not make decisions based on emotion. Have you actually read Dr. Ron Paul's writings? (in his own words)
If it really is "bad", why go from bad to worse... I just don't see that happening.. Of course I was wrong about Clinton the first, both times... Who'd a thought... If she ever where elected, I really doubt anyone would take her seriously.. Especially world leaders... There will always be people snickering behind her back. The biggest thing that bothers me about her is the fact that she is fake... Forced laughs, fake smiles and a "my shit don't stink" look on her face. She really thinks she is better than everyone else... It's sad. Personally, I'd rather see Gore run... Gore runs, I'll switch parties in a heartbeat just to vote in the primaries!
Yes, I have, which is why I mentioned the fact that I mistook his passion for lunacy... Listening to him talk, ignorant to anything I've now read, he came off as a raving lunatic... Again, that's just my take having only heard him speak.... I have friends like Paul.. They come off nuts if you do not know them... I always say, you have to get to know him/her...
I think you have to have a party affiliation specified in order to participate in a delegation for state wide party nominations.. Anyway, I was being facetious. If Gore would stop mucking with the science of GW, I'd be behind him all the way...
What a bunch of sick people. ... Although a great deal of them appear to be joking. I mean they have to be.. right?
I agree Mia. She will be nothing short of a f**king disaster, but your countries Bush/Clinton dynasty is not over any time soon. At least until 2017. To be honest your citizens allowed it to get like this so at the end of the day you only have yourselves to blame. As for Al Gore, he's even more fake than Giuliani so I'll stay out of that one.
