I don't know whether this will work for me or not, but I'll try for the sake of experimentation. I' working for a site that provides "Custom T-Shirts". When I took up the project, the website's position was at 424th in Goolge. The site was performing quite well in Yahoo and Live. The client claimed that he needs Top 10 position, I took the challenge. Now the site is at 16the position, but I've just have one and half a week in my hand to keep my commitment. I've tried everything but it remains at that position and the up-down is with two values. I've been pressurized by the client that why the ranking is not improving. I even advised him to modify the meta element a bit so that the ke phrase can be brought to the front. He did that some three days back and the modification has been cached. But the problem still exists. I thought how it would be to do three way campaigning in between my client sites, free blogs and some book marking sites. I've thought to propose the free blogger sites to keep my link in exchange I'll bookmark them in my four bookmarking accounts like: Stumble UpOn, Digg, Del.icio.us and ClipMarks. How about the idea? Will it work for the site in improving. All the blogs are from Blogspot and they have PRs from 8-1. If you find any flaw in my strategy, please correct me. Your help will be appreciated.
The links from blogs could help. I am not sure about stumble upon and others. Most have no follow tags so they will not help in my opinion.
Yeah, but the hyperlinks at comments are only appear with NO Follow tag. I'm talking about the putting links at the Side Bar. Will it work? Do the Blog Owners would prefer to keep my link in exchange of such good bookmarkings. Because all the above bookmarking sites are capable enough to drive atleast 50 visitor to the blogs. How about this???
I really need to know your keyword, is it highly competitive for example short keyword or is it that the website above you have higher PR, you should check on them too.
So you've been spamming social media sites and creating a link farm - and now you're asking why it doesn't work.
NEVER commit to a specific ranking. Always make your client understand that you have specific goals, but in the end Google will put you where they want you. Did you explain to him in the beginning that it will usually 6-12 months for REAL rankings...sometimes longer? Did you explain that if you go too fast, you'll get penalized? I think you are going to learn a lot about dealing with clients on this project. Good for you! If someone told me I had one week to get them serious rankings, I'd take a nap and maybe read a book. This is useless! If you don't understand what the posting is all about, then you should not post. I've written that I've thought off doing. I've not done it. The first thing is Blogs do publish advertisements. If I approach them for putting my link on their blogs and in exchange I'll tag them in social book marking sites, then what's wrong with that. Rater the blogs will get more visitors and I'll get one back links. It's that simple.
Actually the client asked for guarantee that he wants the site to be within TOP 10 in Google for a particular keyword. Otherwise he would have assigned that job to other SEO company. and You know how competition is ripped in this industry. Who would prefer to loose a client. As I've just started the company, I just try some new things so that I can do SEO smoothly. I found this idea interesting and thought how it would be to share with you. So far as SEO is concerned, I've got a fair knowledge and I can do almost all works myself and my team. But experiment is the real way to discover somethings.
One thing that's wrong with that is if you read the TOS of any of the social media sites you're planning to spam, none of them allow use of their system as payment for personal favors. You're right, this is useless. That's why you're back peddling. And you aren't only out to spam blogs and social bookmark engines, you're also doing it in a last ditch effort to deliver something you aren't capable of to a client who apparently was wrong to hire you. Why you're lashing out at me over this dismal situation is anybody's guess.
Dude 1. don't ever guarantee ranking no offense, but man that is the silliest thing you do ever. 2. Social bookmarking is not going to help at all, that is just for building social networks and creating link baits. 3. Buy links the keyword is very non competitive and easy to rank. Buy a bunch of contextual links and as far as the client goes tell him he needs to relax and its going take a bit long and hes going to have to spend more money if hes pressure you into it then tell him to get lost. There is no reason he needs to act like that, sounds like to me hes being a moron, just buy some high quality links and get it over with.
Things are turning quite positive for me. You know I just mailed 15 messages and got 3 positive replies. You know this has certainly improved my client's site's rank. I don't know what you people fuck out, but this certainly going to be a great success. I'm looking for some other way outs to make this one a bit systematic. I've been observing that there are some users have nothing to do with the real message rather asking useless questions and boasting of their so-called SEO stuffs
