Any success with TireRack?

I'm about to give up on TireRack, I've been using them on my car related site for the past two months and it has resulted in only one sale worth about $3

It averages about 10-15 clicks a day, but no sales at all.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

 

are you running their banner or text ads? which car site?

 

Was running couple banners and one of the interactive ones on the side of the pages.

I took them all down yesterday, 1 sale in two months is not enough.

 

Personally, from my perspective, I only liked tirerack to use there tool that lets us put the rim on the car and see what it looks like. never wanted to buy from them though.

 

i couldn't sell jack from tirerack either. they have a 5 bar rating though, so people are earning lots from them.

 

Their website is too busy, it actually takes effort to figure out where to go to do what.

 

it works, but you need very targeted traffic and a lot of traffic/clicks.....

 

It's also working for me. generating a lot of sales actually.

 

I promote a direct competitor, actually. Very hard category. But with the colder weather, you should hopefully see a spike in sales for winter/snow tires!!
