Do you run / own a blog?

If you own, manage, or run a blog how long did it take your blog to take off? If you currently run one, how is it doing? Is the traffic good? If you own a blog, how is it maintaining? Do you find it hard to work on it and write new posts?

 

My DP blog took off from day one, so did my personal and entertainment blog.

My sports blog sucked so I shut it down. I have a few others that are just for fun. They do well but not as well as the others mentioned above.

 

How did your entertainment blog takeoff? How much traffic did it get?

 

I have just re-launched my web directory blog from yesterday, will post my sucess later . I am starting to love blogging now.

 

My new blog has 150 uniques per day after 3 weeks. Not too bad. I'm working on search engine rankings now.

It's making more money than my 2 month old website with 600+ uniques per day though. This topic is more expensive.

 

I'm running about 70 porn blogs at the moment.
It take time to create them all, but to manage - not much.

 

I just wrote about everything I heard about celebrities. A lot of people are curious I guess.
It gets about 20k UV a month and has about 20k backlinks. I'm starting to ignore it though...

 

Is it bringing in and revenue though? That's not bad traffic. good job!

It took ages as always.

 

What did you do to promote it mate? Was it hardwork?

 

The clicks in the new blog pay higher than in the old website so it earns more with less traffic.

 

Ahh, I see. Are you going to try to focus more of your time on the new blog?

 

Hey thats an interesting blog (in sig) you run there for the adult affiliate programs. Does it get much interest and conversion for you?

The older website is www.NarutoWallpaper.biz and it gets nice search engine rankings but the eCPM is quite low. My new blog is www.MarketingHub.info and it has higher eCPM but doesn't yet have good search engine rankings since it's new. Yes, I am working quite hard on it writing high quality content (and keyword targeting every article ).

 

I own one that gets minimal traffic but it's only new and one of my first.

 

I run my own blog http://www.ridemad.com i run it mainly as a hobby. Its been running just over 12 months now and I have approximately 100 articles mostly written by me which is all unique and growing weekly.

I dont do any promotion as such apart from adding my site to my forms sigs on various sites i use, plus blog pinging services. My blog averaged about 300-500 uniques per month until I start adding alot of unique content earlier this year.

My uniques are about 4,000 per month now, 270k page views at the moment and i have about 30gb of traffic as the site is full of images.
