it's hard to get a good PR if you dont want to spend money to buy any links. so the only way left for you is want Godmode said. provide visitors a good contents and information and let them make a natural links to your site. However this methods will take times though. just be patience.
didnt spend any money. I just wrote good articles. However i made a lot of friends in this industry. Once my blog reached a XXX number of subscribers, it was then too easy to get backlinks. My articles were published on Washington post, CNN and BBC. I am a board member/participating member at various VOIP developments and open source developments.
Don't bother about pr any more as it will be removed in few days. Focus your attention on other important aspects of seo like proper keyword research, copy writing, on-page optimization and quality off page optimization.
yea backlinking is a great thing. kinda sucks because I'm reading all these articles and my site is only 3 months old...
In the recent update, I lost 1 point of PR from 5 to 4. But I dont have much worry about it. I need visitors, not PR.
