I found Paris to be the complete opposite. The people I met in Paris were really friendly, and genuinely interested in what I was doing there and where I was from. I also spent a few weeks in the country and the hospitality there was out of control
I've never been in the United States before, but I'd love to visit Los Angeles one day. Right now my favourite cities are London and Rotterdam.
I have been to 43 of the continental 48 states and my home city of Chicago is still my favorite. Best of luck
Well, I don't really want to move as I'm happy at the city I am at -- Chicago, Illinois. However, if I were to ever want to visit a place, I would want to go to New York. I've never went there, and I've already went to the 2 entertainment cities, Las Vegas and Orlando.
Las Vegas is awesome! Always something to do, no matter what time of day or night... That being said, Chicago is my favorite 'big city' of all time. I've been to Chicago several times, and have never been disappointed. I would like to visit LA sometime...
Leerdam, a small city where I have lived most of my life (till last year) Everytime I am there I cannot walk 10 steps wihout running into someone I know.
I'd like to visit New York as I've seen it so often on TV and in movies. Out of the cities I've currently visited, Paris is still my favourite, even though it's not as good as when I first went there in the 1970s. I also love my home city of Brighton, England. Out of the places I've visited in the US my favourite is probably San Fransisco as it's like the U.S. answer to Brighton! Special mention too to Seattle.
Jamaica was cool to visit, Kingston was a trip…Don’t know if I would want to live there. The Florida Keys are beautiful and a slow paced lifestyle. Amsterdam is one place I would love to go before I get too old. Of course Paris, France, Greece. Dubai would be interesting to go and see the man made islands and the map of the world made from dessert sand.
