Clickbank Publisher: how much does it cost

Say I want to become a clickbank publisher and sell my ebook on clickbank. how much does it cost?
I'm looking through the site now and see no upfront cost for publishers, but I remember there being some sort of cost to new publishers.
Anyone know?

 

It's $49, or in and around there.

Thats the one and nearly only problem with clickbank, its literature isn't the easiest to find again.

 

Yeah I have to agree with you, its pretty hard to understand how affliates work, it was only through viewing other peoples links that I figured it out, and not through the documentation.

 

They take 7.5% off the top per sale.

The $49.95 is for the first account. You are able to sell up to 100 items (I think) from 1 account but only the main item can be listed in the marketplace. To have more than 1 item listed in the marketplace, you need to open another clickbank account. As long as you show them you already paid the $49.95 once, subsequent account is at $29 (or around this figure).

 

I'm new to Clickbank and even though their documentation wasn't the best I've seen, I've been able to get around the affiliation business so far.

But I guess improvements could be made.

It costs 50 bucks. You also have to submitthe product and have it "approved" by clickbank. (I've heard stories from people that say approval is difficult to get in certain niches.)

Also, if you're going to publish a product, don't forget to take into account the cost of: web site hosting, web design & graphics (if you don't do it yourself), etc.
