Too much fade and fluff... I just want a simple, clean, but modern and high quality logo. I like the 3d element earlier entries showed... but so far none of these logos have really stood out for me.
I don't feel like the logo itself is defined enough, and it's hardly unique. I'd also like something a little more clean. Good attempt though. =) First of all, it's Desktop Nexus, haha. =) I'm not a big fan of that logo... again, not defined enough. An example of the type of logo I like are ones from 37 Signals: http://www.37signals.com That style of modern, clean, crisp, unique, and brandable. Now I'm not saying steal their designs (or even anything like it)... I'm just saying that artistic style is what I think would work well for Desktop Nexus. If you could take that level of style and apply it to a 3D design, that'd probably be perfect (depending how well it's made obviously).
Yes. Much better, much closer to the style I'm looking for. Keep in mind it'll be on that blue background primarily (in addition to white), and it needs to look very professional. That logo looks almost like stacks of money to me, lol, but the feel is getting closer.
mr_jinsue, did you read my comments at all? I think you went against every thing I requested (complexity for printing on a shirt, the logo not being part of the words, etc) So far there's not a single entry that I'd want to use. None of these encompass the professional side I'm aiming for.
