Paypal Calling you (is this normal?) More then once

Apparently i have a business account, this is only me, not a company just me alone providing services to people.

I have just started my paypal account 2 months ago, im a verified user with (10) rep.

I've been getting $200 / day for a month and got a call last month saying how i get my money, told them i provide services for advertising. Ok thats fine thanks. End of CALL.

Next couple weeks, i was limited , provided id, etc. Fixed paypal within 1 day.

Now i'm recieving $300/ day for october i got a call again just now from paypal saying did i confirm my bank transfer etc.

i said yes and she then said again im doing advertising right? i said yes i am providing services to retail companies. End of CALL.

Basically, is paypal going to be calling me every month or so?

Would it be better off as im not a company im 1 person doing business better off Switching BACK to PREMIER or just stay as business.?

    What do you guys think.

btw: is it because im recieving too much money? over 2 months i have growing $8,000usd + by the day all to my bank.

It is because of all the money you are making, they are wandering how you got it, if it is not Stolen etc!

I would stay Buisness for now, I bet they would be more suspisous if you were Premier!

    Yea, its not normal.

I've never got a call in 3 years. They just want to know how you're getting that insane amount of money, thats all.

Paypal is weird. When you need them, like when someone scams you, they won't intervene. But when everything is good, they'll stick their noses everywhere.

I believe thats cos thats good amount of money per day | month and sticking with the business account is definitely far better option than premier one.

Why don't you go with bank transfers directly and drop paypal?

Since you aren't supposed to be selling with a premier or personal account, I would definitely not downgrade.

As long as you have a stable sales pattern everything should be fine. They will most likely stop calling once the account has some more history. Since they are responsible for all the money you accept, they are just covering themselves. If you ever have any major sales increases are really large transactions them may do it again.

You're making quite a bit so I'm just going to echo everyone here and say that yeah it's because of the amount you make. Don't downgrade to premiere though, that'll look fishy.

It happened to me twice, The first time I told them I did business with a company and business online, and webhosting business, and I told them you can see that they subscribed which usually means they are paying every month (or so), for the service..

Then I got called again, I told them I already got called about this and I said what I said in the past, and they said, "well, you are getting a lot of money that are not subscribers", and I said "If you really think I am doing illegal business or anything, then waste your time and check where my funds come from." and they said "Thank you, blah blah thanks for using paypal blah blah blah, Bye."

That was the last call I got from them, hopefully I won't receive another because they are to lazy to investigate it, they call me to get answers.

@ vincehelp , They need to basically cover their own asses, and they don't like when the money goes right into the bank as a whole lot, they like small payments going in and out of your account so they make more for transaction fee's.

Paypal is leery of anyone making alot of money so soon. At least they didnt freeze your account, which I have heard they do to new accounts that start making large amounts of money quickly.

I'm usng it for long time, though, not transactions worht $5k monthly, but little lower than that, a member of 1.5 years, and never got a call.

Are you sure they were PayPal, as far as I know they don't call you except that fact when you recover the pass without email access.

Well I hope you didn't open that account with fake info like you did with your other account you mentioned on your other thread. And I hope it's not the same kind of account otherwise you could risk to lose your funds altogether. I've been a member of PayPal since they launched and have not been called once on any of my transactions going in nor going out of my accounts (personal nor business account) nor from my PayPal card when I use it. So apparently they are monitoring you for some reason and it could have something to do with your other account. And off of that note, you may want to take Lastbutnotleast's advice. I'd also recommend contacting them and just asking them why they keep calling you and if they are going to keep calling you every month and why. And ask them to stop unless of course you've given them some other reason to doubt you. And if so, then it's only a matter of time before you lose that money too. And so, again, take Lastbutnotleast's advice. Good luck.
