How do I get a scammer banned?

    Hi everyone,

I writing today $80 worse off because someone called Sundaybrew has scammed me.

I sent hin $80 to write me some articles and because the quality was just SO poor, I just had to ask for a refund. He gave me a single article back (not the complete order) and it was as if it was hashed by a bot or something... you couldn't read it because it was just so spliced together.

After the receipt of the "test" article, I asked him nicely for a refund and explained that the work he's provided was not to the standard I would expect. It was then (on MSN) that he suddenly lost interest and literally said "Speak to my wife about it. Not my account" and consequently BLOCKED me!

I spoke to his wife on MSN who gave me word that she would have to reupload the money and refund me however the two previous deadlines she set for this to occur have now passed without a word from her.

So I went on Paypal and filed a dispute... I explained everything like I'm doing now and the owner of the account (Sundaybrew's brother!!) replied and said that if I closed the dispute, everything would be sorted in 7 days...

Fat chance I was doing that so I escalated to a claim and instead of saying "fraudulent" I selected "Non delivery of goods" which, looking back, is a stuipid decision. Anyway - the claim got rejected by Paypal.

So I'm now stuck with nothing. They have my money and I don't even have any articles. It pains me to see this guy running around with good iTrader and scamming people like me who have to work very hard for our money.

I really want to see this guy banned for scamming me and, evidently from other threads on here, many other people on this forum.

I'll probably get an infraction for this but I want to know how I can get my money back or my "revenge" on Sundaybrew?

    Thanks in advance

Trust me when I say this, you're not the only on this forum to be ripped off by Sundaybrew.

To answer your question, you can't do anything. just leave negative itrader and be more careful next time.

Woah - don't try and jump the queue!
There are many in line with claims against this member before you.
He has a very good defence mechanism - he just ignores PMs and reports threads like this getting the aggrieved party infractions for attacking him. Pretty neat, huh?

DP doesn't ban scammers, they ban people who annoy them when they attempt to report a scammer.

It's nothing new jimmy - I can remember 6 or 7 previous occasions now all this year. People should not be suprised when they hear this name in a negative context - it is becoming the norm. Seems you can get away with a lot - far too much - by resting on your previously laurells.

They are scared of having negative iTrader. I have been ripped off twice on eBay, and i just didn't even bother leaving them feedback, it still asks whether i want to give feedback to these 2.

Wow thanks for the replies - hopefully some of the mods or even shawn could take this the way it should go this time.

I can't believe we have a scammer running around... I've just had a PM from ANOTHER member scammed by Sundaybrew.

This guy's totally manic and is starting to annoy me. I would leave an itrader but I did the deal via PM's! Oh yeah - he's ignoring my PM's now it seems too :(

Way to go Joe (sundaybrew) :) What a great businessman!

No wonder people are getting scared of who they give their money to...

Ok my opinion doesn't count and so far every deal I did went ok (Ok I am still waiting from someone if they dd what I payed for. But I am waiting just 7 days and after that I will report him.) but shouldn't there be a system that when a member get's a neg tr they automatically will be revieuwed by mod or admin and banned if the case is a real scammer case? I mean I read this guy has scammed 7 people!

I don't think that anything will happen , as you have not enough proof + he has very impressive profile http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=21475 with over +350 iTrader though he got about 10 negative too.
So just forget it and move on ( I know it's hard but ... )

Could be but considering the amount of people on this forum - that would be an unlikely solution I think.

This guy stands out, it seems. If it were "real life" (I.E properly governed by police, etc) - his ass would be closely watched by the feds already the amount of scamming he's doing.

It's "Sad but True" (thanks Metallica) that he's able to do this stuff...

Sundaybrew never breaks any forum rules, and therefore he will never be banned.

His reputation is ruined, and if this continues, then he will not be able to trade here because he will be unable to clear his name. His activity here has plummeted since the first thread.

As pointed out in other threads, he could have sold a $1 ebook 350 times and got 350 iTraders or something similar. The fact is, he's scammed me and has my money.

I'm not so bothered that he has my money but the blatent lies, excuses and fact he is getting away with it all... On top of the time I'm taking to EXPOSE him.

    Sorry for double post :)

    That's true Rob.

I saw a thread he posted about you being a drug user or something? Does that break forum rules?
