Every time Google toolbar is updated ,there is some problem

I have Firefox and when my Google toolbar gets updated I lose my bookmarks stored in my browser..(Not Social Bookmarking)

Is there any way to retrieve it?

 

Before you go with the Google Toolbar Update, You can open the Bookmarks menu and then click on Organize Bookmarks finally select your folder and then click on the File menu and click on Export.
While data backup even for small stuff like bookmarks should be one of your monthly if not weekly procedure, unless you are using your home computer.

Google toolbar updates automatically!

 

I think don't update the google toolbar automatically. Update for 1 or 2 months. This you can do this by if you had firewall means when it is try to updating firewall will ask whether to allow access or not. Tell don't give access to update. Automatically firewall will take care every time when it is going to automatically updated

 

I don't remember where, but somewhere there is an option for turning off automatic updates.
