Hello, Ok, let's say you have some domains with GoDaddy, they have an option inside your domain "change DNS" or "update DNS" or "Update Nameservers" soemthing like that, as i don't use GoDaddy.. For an example, torxhost nameservers is ns1.torxhost.com ns2.torxhost.com When you set your domain to those 2 nameservers, then from everything to 0 hours to a maximum 48 hours your domain will be resolved and will point to torxhost server.. The nameserver is what that is telling your domain were to go, and when you set the NS to for an example torxhost, then the domain know that its going to the torxhost server. And by adding your domain in the torxhost server, then the server knows what domain to add with which account :=) I hope this helped you a bit on your path And made things easier to understand. Yes, If you change the NS to torxhost ns, then yes you will be able to use them with us! Basicly, you are able to use the domains with any webhosting company without "transfering" them, its just an DNS change and your set. Thanks, Freddy
HI EG I really had diffculty understanding this concept at first , but once you have done it a few times it all falls into place and becomes so easy ...but you dont redirect or forward anything , heres what i do ... I host all my domains on one webpace at hostgator ... thats webspace lets say is called mybigdomin.com ..thats where the physical space is and all the other domain land there ... heres the magic bit i love ........ no matter where you have any (unlimited) other domains you log into namecheap/godaddy etc ANYWHERE and change the nameservers to ns1.hostgator.com , ns1.hostgator.com The you log into cpanle and CREATE ADDON DOMAIN ,tht script automaticlly creates a folder wih your new domin name ... lets call it domain99.com Now when anyone types in www.domain99.com it actually lands on a folder like this ...but its invisable , noone can tell www.mybigdomain.com/domain99 the biggest advantage of this for me is ONLY ONE FTP LOGIN ... you log in and in front of you is lots and lot of folders and you can work on them all in one place hope this helps rather makes it more confusing PAUL

How much is the actual cost of hosting for a year (with your discount)? Also, I'd have to renew some 20-30 odd sites, making it around $300 + the cost of hosting to start up. Sounds way too expensive...

Above 2GB diskspace Above 10GB Bandwidth Unlimited Addon Domains Unlimited Subdomains cPanel (basically want auto install of WordPress) One email address per website (ex ) Any other freebies (like a free domain or 10 ) would be excellent, but not a must. Hit me up with your best packages! All packages should allow upgrading at any time, as I presume as the websites start to get bigger they will need more than 2GB of space/1GB Bandwidth. I am not sure if they will allow you to use up all the 500 GB , that is just massive overselling. A server with a 500 GB HDD will cost upwards of $200 a month. Also, I guess max HDD is currently 1000 GB & you can fit in say 4 HDDs, so is that just 8 clients to a server ? Paying just $240 a year, when the config alone costs more than 10 times that price. Well, actually their inital cost if $143.4. However, you enter in a coupon code, and that removes $50. Then, I signed up through a friends affiliate link (giving him a commission of $70); he will pay me $60, meaning that the total I paid will be $34.3 I've used HostICan before and they're pretty easy, so hopefully will be good
