Finding the flv file of a YouTube video

    Does anyone know how I could find the .flv file of a youtube video? I would like to remote upload it to my server and stream it, but am having trouble finding it :p

    In your browser, go to View > Page Source. Search for .flv in it and you'll find it ;).

    go keepvid.com and write down the link there. then you can download that file ;)

    Check temp folder of your computer.. it gets stored there, alas ..doesn't allow you to copy it.

    Best and easiest option is to paste youtube link at www.keepvid.com and download the video.

    Or type about:cache in firefox address bar to find that video in cache. Best of luck finding it :p

    Or change the URL from youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxx to kissyoutube.com/watch?v=xxxxx

    You can also use the Adblock plus plugin to see the flv file which shows up as an object and copy paste it into the address bar :)
