It doesn't look crazy at all to me. If more people prepared their own meat there would be a greater awareness and appreciation of where food on the supermarket shelves actually comes from.

 

Yeah it is nothing better than home made, raised animal and food you get from it where you exactly know what, when and how you fed it!

supermarket ? Ah I feel sorry for those people that have to buy it from there actually. It just doesn't taste the same ...

Plus if you're raising livestock for your own consumption you're more likely to take good care of it by giving it a good diet, warmth, shelter and space to exercise. The mass producers aren't so concerned about animal welfare - they just do the bare minimum to keep within the law.

I'm veggie too (gradually going vegan), but I've got a lot of respect for people who live / work on farms and eat the meat they produce. That seems worlds away from buying some supermarket chicken nuggets IMO.

This is why I love being webmaster and work from home, live on the countryside. It is easy and we don't care about recession, higher food prices and all that shit .... oh and we have high-speed internet hehe

No animal farm Only for family needs. No more and no less

You would be surprised how small amount of work is needed to have enough food for 4 people if you grow your own...it is easily done if you want !
