Looking forward to seeing what kind of earning potential this technique has...Thanks Clive!

For the people driving traffic to their BANS sites, is there anything besides ranking in search engines or similar type sites?

In my opinion, to be a real earning machine these type of sites need to work with PPC. Any thoughts?

I have a few Amazon stores (same principal: ie uses the Amazon API to display a store on the fly) and with just a few hours of promotions (actually paid people on DP do to the work) they earn high $x to low (very very low) $xx per month. I don't think nowadays, they are worth the time... They might be worth the time, using PPC but I never had the time to test that.

Correct me if I'm wrong here Wulfster

    1. I buy the script from buildanichestore.com
    2. Find a niche
    3. Create a site out of it
    4. Build links (Did you build links to your sites BTW?)
    5. Wait for traffic?

It would also be nice if I could have a look see at one of your BANS site. You can PM it if you like.

    I concur.

Let's see a link to ANY BANS site, yours or someone else's, just to get an idea of what it is!

Not your super traffic secrets, just an idea of what a BANS site is comprised of. It's all so vague.

heres one of my bans sites. i have 5 now and plan on doing more each mth. have been with bans on various topics. so far with bans ive made over 1000usd

example bans site: www.tamiya-kits.com please note its not using the current vers 2.0. its using the vers1.3

check the site out. see how it works then buy it. theres banner on me site :)

it does work and ive not had a bans site yet that hasnt converted one way or another.. like mentioned many times. traffic is the key.. the more targeted the better.

    Thanks for the url.

It looks pretty straightforward. Let me see if I understand: it's all eBay listings, and the trick is in the traffic, the garnering of which is the secret of BANS? But not PPC.

    Hm.

Just wondering how you got your items to show up like that, is that a custom mod or is it one of the included templates? I'm referring to how the text/links beside the item image are showing.

Well, the script itself is cool. Very simple and easy to use but.. buggy.

Be careful when deleting a category that contains child categories, they will all be removed from the list but subcategories will remain in the database, they won't show up on the site but won't be completely removed from the database either... This may become a problem when trying to resubmitting those categories to the store which will most likely fail.

I now need to do some debugging work from what I can see but the overall impression about the script is positive so far..
It's quite customizable which is a good fact.

Yes that is an issue, when you delete a category you can't re-add it. Saw somewhere on the forum they will have a fix for this. In the meantime just start over, once you get the hang of it you won't make as many mistakes and it will be a breeze :)

Btw wiiman, I found the answer to my question so don't worry about it. I somehow missed the product layout setting.
