Sneaky? I don't think so.
The amount of BANS and eBay RSS info I've shared on DP is worth more than the few aff clicks I get in return.

To everyone who has purchased BANS; would you recommend this for people that are new to selling on ebay?

i built my first bans site 3 days ago - the first thing i did was to install analytics and verify the site through googles webmaster tools.

the second day it was index by google and appeared on the first page for my second key phrase! this was before i added 10 pages of content yesterday so i'm looking forward to see the results after the next index.

already seeing good traffic results - get the basics right and remember content is king. don't build a bans site and leave it with just ebay feeds or it will be a complete waste of time.

Why use bans when you can use Ebays API and build your own niche sites??

I'm a software engineer in my day job, so I certainly have the technical ability to use the eBay API's. However, there are only so many hours in a day. In the time it would take me to figure out the API's and get a working, repeatable site, I was able to build a half dozen with BANS and had already more than paid back the purchase price.

Do you have more time than money? Do you have enough technical know-how to use the eBay API's on your site? Then it's probably worth a try.

I'm very pleased with the direction I chose to take:

I also bought BANS and used it for around 3 weeks now driving targeted traffic from my other sites to these BANS sites.
But I didn't see anything impressive (nothing anywhere close to what the thread opener has stated).

So to be frank, this threads looks just like somebody is trying to sell BANS and thats it.

    Thanks, Jim.

To be honest, I was expecting to receive a reaction like this. All cause it sounds too good to be true, when someone says "thousand a week" and all that easy. Traffic is kink, that's true. But I have a slight doubt that ebay users would prefer to browse on an affiliate website rather than on ebay directly.

Having said all this, I might give it a go, just to prove myself either way. And I'll keep everyone updated on the result if I ever decide to go ahead and try this plan out.

You're right, I don't make $1,000 every week. But since I did, I thought I'd share a milestone with the forum. This week, for example, I only made $951 from my twelve BANS sites. When I hit another milestone, I'll post a new thread; if you don't care to believe it, just move on to the next thread.

I'm not asking anyone to believe in Santa Claus here. I mean, have you even seen the screenshots I've posted?

If you don't want to believe the numbers I've posted and the screenshots that went along with them, that's your choice.

I did not mean to attack your idea, Kent. Not at all :)

I said I might give it a try since I wouldn't be losing much if it fails afterall.
    Thanks for sharing this!

Yes you need to purchase the script. But you can build as many stores as you want with it.

That's good to know, is there a link to the official site mentioning that?
