Suggestion - Google Should Now Add Favicon To Its Search Result

now that almost everysite is using favicon on thier site

i feel even google should implement it in thier search results

I would like things to stay the way they are. I think favicons in the results will not look nice.

It would be great. Favicon will by then be a hot product!

 

Not a good idea at all. First, it would slow google down substantially to go to every site in the results and get the icon (many sites are extremely slow)

and it would also add false hits to your site. every time google showed your favicon you'd register a hit from someone that wasn't even on your site.

 

Offcourse google can cache the favicon also . as if google fetches the title of the page or descirption to give out a result

 

it would be a useless feature! so, voted for 'no'!

I think it is a very good idea

 

I think it's a grate idea and may be profitable as well in case you are selling icons.

 

Seeing everyone's icon on the result page would cause clutter and be an eyesore.

 

I'm not a big fan of it. I like the clean look.. different favicons would make Google look really messy.
