Widgetbucks pays as good as Adsense (Proof)

It may work well on some types of sites while adsense would wrk better on others.

 

Yeah I think that's a big part of it. For instance, my website is a niche blog. Products simply aren't going to sell well because it's difficult to hit the right demographic. since it's a political site, links to other political sites, or sites that compliment mine do really well.

Recently I changed all my AdSense ads from image only to text only. The clicks doubled immediately. Since all i see on Widgetbucks are graphical flash ads, I don't think they'd do so well on my site.

Basically I think you hit the nail on the head and are right.

I removed Adsense but would assume it will take a hit sense these ads are more catchy to the eye. If anyone needs help join under me and pm me and I will get you going! Already at $11.80 today, hehe.

 

Does it allow foreign sites, and does it have foreign advertisers?

Only english sites are allowed

I'm still at over 8,000 impressions and ONE click... Maybe my niche aint right for it..

I'm surprised you got only 1 click, I would bet something went wrong, even if your niche is not right somebody would probably click

 

well, all i did so far is throw it up in my forums area which gets a really low CTR no matter what's there..

later today i'm going to place widgets on several 'regular' pages.. these will have much better-targeted traffic but less of it..

i'll try several things with it before i give up..

to be honest i will keep this on my smaller site and see if it pays before i try it on my major adsense sites

 

Some people have found that their rates decline after the first day or so - would be interesting to see how long yours stay good.

I just tried it, in less than 6 hours, I got almost what covers a vbulletin yearly license = $30

you are right, I placed only on one page.. I will keep tracking and see if they pay, and will keep you guys updated...

 

Nobody is going to get paid until December. I hope that means they will take my checks from November and October and combine for a big one. Anyone getting a high CTR using this? I am only at < .5%.
