no because their 8 cpu servers so theirs 800% cpu that can be used and not everyuone is going to be using 25% all the time its physically impossible unless you are running proxy sites
hi who said only proxy sites can use this much of cpu ??? any busy site can get over ur 25% usage one more thing 100% means 100% no 800% thanks
Totally depends on the power of your server. Some single cpu machine may not run well with 400 accounts on it. But I know our quad cpu, 4gb ram, raid-10 boxes have no issues with 1000 sites. Of course it also depends on the size of the sites that are running. We host a lot of low traffic web sites so it isn't an issue. In fact I think we could run 4x as many sites without issue. Solid optimizations on apache, mysql ect. can really increase the number of sites you can host.
One of my client's account was suspended by shoutserv without any reasons. And he lost money. I will tell , not to go with them. I heard from him that they are having 230 GB primary hard disk and its 93% full. Showing RED icon on cpanel service status.
NEW INFOMATION: SHOUTSERV INSTALLED RUBY ON Rails And bad info: httpd (1.3.37 (Unix)) "failed" _ may be that error make my website can't show
My site can't show || 72.232.43.130 - > other site hosted on this server run properly/ @sentest i'm checked server status and one seen one serious problem httpd (1.3.37 (Unix)) "failed" >> may be that is reason.
As far as I know (one of my master reseller told me) that this server is down since 4 days. HTTPD only down. cpanel and whm are working. Actually shoutserv does not know what to do?. They know only how to sell some "lifetime" packages. Nothing else! Also, another person told me the same thing and he is my master reseller right now. I moved all his accounts to my server within minutes. To all shoutserv clients, take this as your warning. I am sure, they will quit from hosting after 2 or 4 months when they get lot of money from the "lifetime" plan!!
Also you can not do anything if they quit. They are not providing phone support. Also no information about their office (if any) and nothing else. As far as I know, they have only email based help system and live chat in msn One good example of Lifetime package selling site was hostbytes.net They are not now in business. No host can afford one time fee for a long time. I want to continue my hosting,SunTex Hosting , So I am not giving any lifetime packages, only monthly and yearly . So that I can go with the server for any amount of time.
Look at their site http://shoutserv.com/contact.php http://shoutserv.com/about.php I cant see any specific information about where is this company located. Also they dont have bank account details displayed . In my country , we can track a host with the bank account numbers
youve just broke the law by posting the last info.i do know what todo however no one should be using 43.130 as per the email i sent 1.5 months ago informing you the server is being shut off and for you to change the ns.i disabled httpd a week ago its not my fault you dont check your emails
Hi Ash, can you please ask your support crew to check my ticket: [Ticket ID: 238767] My Master Reseller is not working Thanks, Anders
Hi qualityhostings , the account is active (cpanel works), but after a server move, the (master) reseller permissions were lost. This happened some time ago and I have tried to get the WHM (reseller) permissions restored - with no luck.
Amazing, One of my reseller also told me the same thing (he had an account with shoutserv, But they suspeneded that account without any reasons) He told me the same thing that he also lost his master permission and opened support ticket, and he waited for 2 weeks for a reply. Hum... shoutserv is caring only for making some money by selling lifetime accounts. Is it good thing?
Hi qualityhostings, a responsive customer support is vital to any business. Hopefully they will learn... Let's face it - the lifetime reseller business is NOT a working model; I've purchased 5(!) lifetime reseller accounts since January this year, 4 from eBay, and 1 here at DP - all of them has been shut down, or stopped working. The last one (before shoutserv) lasted for 9 months, but after ONE client of mine was caught sending spam, he shut down the entire reseller account and left me with lots of angry clients. I guess the only option left is to get an unlimited master reseller on a low monthly or yearly fee here on DP, for my 150+ client accounts.
