What happened to DN forum? (The site just dissappeared)

    When I visited dnforum.com today, the site dissappeared and was replaced by a message that it could be for sale. :eek:

    I visited that forum yesterday and cannot believe that one of the best known domain name forums would cease operation like this. I don't believe either that the owner forgot to pay his domain renewal fees. I wonder what is going on, has the site been hacked?

    what happened to www.dnforum.com ???

    did they forget to renue the domain and some one got the name when it is dropped?

    Any clue on what is going on?

    how would they just park it?

    It has 1000's of users and there are people like me who paid to be a member!

    Hope my membership fee is not gone for good.

    I wouldn't think a forum owner running a domain forum would just "forget to renew" the domain.. Any idea how long it's been parked ?

    I just found out and made post here.

    not sure how long it is parked..

    I only paid $35.00 (I think)

    May be it is hacked and they made it parked while they figure out a way.

    its back up and running OK!

    I could login and all my data (PM's etc are there as usual)

    looks like they made a goof with the name servers.
