ievu just reached 12k backlinks. It's a pretty good amount for such a short time since I launched it. Congratulations!!! I just hit 75k per yahoo and am looking to top that 100k mark by the end of the year also while incorporating much of what mikey said.
I get different numbers in yahoo depending on if I am logged into site explorer or not. If I am not logged in there is less, but if I log into site explorer they all show up.
To get any dead pages out of the directory and make sure that No spammy titles and descriptions are within as well as make sure that the category supports the website thats listed Your goal as i see it is to have the best data available for when the SEs come collecting.. Why? The traffic you get is minimal, links traffic is more than likely industry based and most people these days will be asking the same question I am. What do you gain? Does a directory really need more links than are necessary?

For me, just to start would be nice ( but that will happen soon ), From there my goals are to blend what i know works in the domestic world with the cyberspace world, stay true to my plans, and just become the best i can at what i do, and in that i also have thoughts of sharing and learning along with supporting others of similar thought patterns.
Well I see Inlinks (2,128) now for your site. Well I feel that a directory should be resource, So that your 1st time user comes in again & again to your site.
Razvan Congratulations on your achievement so far. My directory goals and objectives are to be as unique as i can by adding what i have in mind and making some changes to them, im thinking long term regarding this as i know i cant transform them overnight. Plus adding gradually i will be testing what is suitable and desired from the users.
Google doesnt update thier links as fast as yahoo and others so im sure when they do thier backlink update it will be thier. thx malcolm

My goal is to show that the directory market has lost it's vision to provide quality manual results to users. So the other part of that goal is to get my directory finished and that it would be unbiased.
