I think dictating the page is one of the ways. I found this: http://www.acb.org/accessible-formats.html about making documents Accessible to People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired. I also found some sites that help a blind or visually impaired person magnify the pages using special software or hardware. I think anything requiring sites to display in a special format could be expensive and very difficult, especially for the little ecommerce sites.
Lets take down the whole internet now. Are they going to be suing car compnaies next, because they are not "blind" operable.
Should make your sites for the blind then, it isn't hard. Why shouldn't they be able to read websites as well?
I once heard of a braie computer for blinds, it translats what's on the screen in braile(or how ever you write it) you know that language with dots that you need to feel with your fingers.
you have a board in front of yu. the dots will go up as soon as the comp has translated the stuff on the screen.
how about if blind people wanna search for porn? gaming? movies? so all sites need to translate/build for blind? I think this news is stupid and those blind people should know the limitation of themself as well.
