Just wondering when everyones first BANS eBay affiliate sales started coming through after they first launched their site. Also do you notice that certain days on average yield better results in terms of sales?
after some good traffic, is what you need. drive traffic to your site, target trafiic, and you'll get many sales
I use Adwords to promote my stores, and I've made sales the first day on most of my sites. Even if you're not using Adwords, if you use good page titles, BANS sites get indexed super quick, and organic traffic will start trickling in within a week or two. Joe
I am trying BANS. A lot of traffic but very little sales. So effectively very low eCPM. I am better of with clickbank it seems.
I tried PPC a long time ago on my DIY eBay/rss sites (very similar to BANS) and it was a waste of time and money. I've since worked on organic traffic and it's a night and day difference. Traffic is down & conversions are up
You have to drive traffic to your sites. I have a couple of sites up that I have done nothing with and they only get 1 or 2 hits a day. You can read my diary of my experiences with BANS at the site in my signature.
1 of my BANS sites got sales 2 days after launch and another 3 days after launch, via organic traffic
I have recieved two sales within the first week of it being up ($11 earnings). However, the last two weeks it has been up I have seen nothing. Personally, Ithink it could be a very good thing ( I have done very little promotion). I do not know the best way to promote it so I am still researching it, but I want to try and attempt organic traffic if possible. Also, I need to write a few articles on the site (I think this is one of the keys to it). So, it can work and will work, just work needs to be put into it. Write some original articles to go along with it and promote those, leave the store on the side of it. I recieve very few visitors, but most are very targeted too due to the nature of the store). Personally, I just need to figure out how to better work the Search Engines.
You can get sales with PPC on your first day, but you need signups or you'll probably be leaking money. At least thats my experience.
I agree with you very much here Kerosene. It is not about having massive traffic, but having small, very targeted traffic who is interesting in buying antique future. That needs to be very specific as well with the buying part. You do not want people who are looking up information on buying, but who are actually buying.
Yep. You've gotta get them once they've already made the decision to buy. When even a bad review of the product will have a double negative postive inverse psychological effect and make them buy instantly
