Its got off topic. What im saying is if you commit click fraud, obviously google will just ban you. If you do it and it sabotages your competitors online income, then you can be in some big trouble.

I was kind of wondering if they could spell.. I saw the wrong form of a word in "their" somewhere... also another word and the last sentence was um.. I forget the word.. fragmented maybe? I wouldn't know though, I'm not a lawyer... lawyers are (like) smart (or something)
    :p

No they won't arrest him.. but as someone stated before me, he can get arrested for his warez site. Its unlikely but I think its a business people should stay away from.

Just because you studied law and are qualified as a lawyer doesnt mean you know what you are talking about.

My wife is qualified to drive a car but she still hits other cars at least once a week.

Ask Interpol Chief Larry Page. He will answer your question.

    Yikes..

I doubt very much that he is a lawyer.. I've yet to see an actual attorney express and opinion on an internet forum... It's hard to get them to do that in court as it is..

Yes, he could, depending upon the content...but not solely or because of his having adsense on the site.

You guys are missing my argument here, entirely. Obviously if you cheat google, their just going to ban you and nothing else. However, if you cheat a competitor they will most likely do nothing, but they have other options. With IP tracking or some other software, if they have reason to believe and prove it was you, they could do anything. Could possibly be charged with fraud. Its all hyperthetical, will not happen in a majority of cases. But its possible.

Not sure I'm buying the "qualified lawyer" business...most of them state more disclaimers after their opinions than sands on a beach, and the opinions usually aren't valid in Tennessee and Kentucky :) but lawyer or not, I agree completely with what you're saying above. Google is not the be all and end all, they COULD go after you for click fraud if that were the case, but not for site content. I'm not sure if the competitors you mention above are applicable in this case (warez), but Google can, however, inform proper authorities who DO deal with site content. And, if you're sharing copyrighted files, there is enough activity in that area that you would probably be shutdown eventually anyway, with varying levels of legal consequences.

What is a "qualified lawyer" anyway? Is there a difference between a qualified lawyer and a lawyer?
