Making bidding link directory. Good or not?

    Hello all,

I have lots of good high PR domains/sites to force each other. Maybe too late but i am planning to set up a bidding link directory.
I have a good PR0 LNN.net domain and a good PR6 domain for this directory.
If i begin asap, i know that i can make PR6s' subpages at least P5 in 6 months.
PR0 may take more than a year.

My question is should i set up PR6 with PR0 subpages or work hard for subpages and begin selling 6 months later?

    Thank you

First you need to make sure you can keep the pr6. It is not going to drop out in the future or something like that.

I think (and this only my opinion because I don't own a bid directory) that you need to go through the whole process. People will see the potential you have and possibly bid enough money for you to be able to have those pr5 pages easily.

This is just my thought, but I am not big into the bid industry. Sure some other posters can give you more solid advice.

I suspect the boom of the bidding directories has past. Google's apparent all-out attack against selling paid links would seem to make this clear, yet people are continuing to launch bidding directories in the same breath as talking about PR. There are some well-run and established bidding directories that may survive, but I would not waste my efforts launching one now.

If you are truly serious about starting a directory, my advice would be to find a good niche/topic and add something special that makes it more than just another directory. Otherwise, I fear you will not recoup the investment of your time.

After reading their post I would like to contract my previous, haha. Great post both of you.

I learned something from both of them.

I think the posts made were all valid, but do not discredit a bidding directory, they are still a good concept regardless rather than the directory type its more about how you do things.

I'm starting an new directory and it's not a neiche and it will be a Bid MK2 directory, just look at everything in context then make your call, there is good and bad in evry directory type, and the outcome is not based on type but effort put in.

Yes that will be really a nice idea to go on with a unique bidding directory & not starting on a Pr6 domain. ;)
