    this delayed Pr update has definately made me lose a lot of credibility in the Google Pagerank system and program. I now have no inecntive to work towards a PR

    Google as of this time seems not interested to do any update at all. Could be another scheme to avoid webmasters from selling links with respect to popularity by PR.

    Check in google. Type "link:<url-of-your-site>". If you notice that your backlinks are increasing, meaning google update backlinks.

    But that's precisely the point. People shouldn't be working with Page Rank in mind. what matters the most is the quality and relevancy of your content to the end user, and Google's job is to sort the results with this in mind.

    agtile: just because you don't see any update on the green bar it does not mean that google is not calculating your PR once in a while ... google actually does ...

    micromark the pagerank of each page gets updated very often by google and it actually shows your highest pageranked page in webmaster tools each and every month

    google is working on a paid link algo. and they are trying a different version of them. when they finish it, i'm sure that pr will be updated

    i think pagerank update ahs began. i didnt get any new pr. but 2 of my droped pr 4 sites got PR 4 again.
