Is their even a back link counter that works.

    Numerous back link counters don't work.

    backlinkwatch exceeds its 10 000 visits every day and the server shuts down. Italkwebtool backlink counter hasn't been working forever. A majority of backlink counters say my site has got less than the 100 minimum links when my site has 1200 links.

    What is going on with this.

    I'm pretty sure they all just use search engines for there results anyway. Use googles webmaster tools section and click on links. Thats actually pretty accurate it gives all the links to all of the sites on your domain. If your not signed up with googles webmaster tools sign up and go. I think they make you validate the site by having you place a text file in your root folder.

    Not sure if google webmaster tools have been updating their backlinks on there, mines been at 849 for weeks, and i know ive gotten more since then.
