Bush opposes Armenian genocide measure.

    WASHINGTON - President Bush urged Congress to reject legislation Wednesday that would say it was a genocide when thousand of Armenians were killed around the time of World War I. ..........

    So the genocide, the tremendous terror that the Armenians went through won't be counted as such since Bush has no interest in its recognition.

    If an ally does a genocide or some other serious crime most likely it can get away with it.

    You see how hypocritical the president and most of the republicans are on this issue?
    Double standards at its best. That's why US lost its global standing. Thanks to politics like this.
    Honesty and law victims to temporary political or other American interests people around the world will say.

    If US wants to be the leader in democracy Bush and the republicans should support this legislation.
    As a matter of fact US presidents and admins often act like US is the most democratic country in the world, and are often lecturing others on it.
    If they don't support this legislation, that will show that US before all has her own interest and then everything else.

    What lie ? So those armenians just made harakiri or what ?

    Give us a break. Turkey(Ottoman Empire) of that time was pretty much bloody and after almost a century now it is time to look into the eyes of the truth....
