According to some topics DP brings very good traffic to your site. Well in my case it doesn't work! I had 3 unique visitors yesterday and 4 today(for now) Will be happy having 5 unique visitors tomorrow
I get about 400 unique visitors a day on about five websites combined. You should be doing better than that!
I m new to this DP, but i do believe it could bring some visitors because it has a lot of enthusiastic visitors here.
400 sounds good to me. Anyway I make ~2000+ visitors a day but I was expecting having more visitors from DigitalPoint.
I guess not many people on DP are interested in milk! Add to that you have too few posts for people to actually notice you, so start posting more or better yet buy few signatures!
The more posts you have, the more signature links. The better your posts are the more people will look at your signature. The majority of your posts are rather short and do not provide a means to see what your site is worth, or rather, based on your short posts, people assume your sig links are not worth clicking. Try posting higher quality posts that add content to Digital Point that are relevant the threads/forums you post in. You should find that your traffic will improve. However, sig relevance is also important, as is the site you are linking too. I find that people are less inclined to click into blogspot, or to sites not all that relevant to the topic (they are in the topic because they have an interest in it). My sig link traffic varies a great deal, but I can say that I've likely had more visitors to my link building, forum, and site sigs in a month then my occult/magick sigs have gotten since I became a member here (months ago). Also, if you stumble across a topic that is discussing something you've talked about, then add a link in the actual post (though, do it by adding content, just posting the link will get you an infraction). When I post links in the actual topic I generally get 10-50 clicks in a matter of hours, where as my sigs are lucky to get that in a day. In the end, traffic from a forum is more then just a sig link.
Buying (or renting) sig links is a means to increase the chances of a click. If you have 5 people all posting 3-5 times a day the number of times people see the link is just greater then if you had the sig all by yourself. Though, when buying a sig link it's important to look at things like posts per day, post quality, member reputation, iTrader, and then try to figure out if that member will likely get banned. Buying sig links work well for MANY people, and it's also often cheaper then other advertising...
Buying Signature links could be working and as well not working depending of how good the forum marketing of the seller. I have learnt about it during my few years in forums(other forum, not digital point)
1. Make sure your sites are of interest to the type of audience here. If they're not of interest to webmasters, don't expect much traffic. 2. If you barely have any posts, people obviously aren't going to see your sig links all that often, so again, don't expect much traffic. You get out what you put in. 3. Make sure your posts are high quality. Say something useful and people might care about checking out the sites that you run. If most of your posts are short, generic comments, don't expect to get a lot of interest or traffic.
try to insert one exclusive signature link with catchy phrase then start a controversy thread about someone important in the webmaster industry
