Wordpress MU or Bloghoster

    Basically am looking for a Mutli user blog system.. A group of few users.. Who will have their own blogs under one domain name! Yes, something like blogger or wordpress.com

    Now my question is.. The free Wordpress MU or Bloghoster

    Which is more SEO friendly? I heard wordpress is very SE Friendly.. what about Bloghoster?

    Any other advice from members here would be great :)

    Its always better to go for a Open Source software which gives you support from 1000s of developers working and improving the CMS.

    Now, take that if you use WP MU, you will have options to add any kind of plugins imaginable and mostly are been created by someone or the other.

    Go for Wordpress MU, its the best

    I maybe wrong, but I think have full control yourself specially if you are going to offer it as a service, it would be better to have something more in control, so basically to me bloghoster makes much more sense. But again, thats just my 2c. If I were you, I would spend the $250 and take control of it.

    i own www.iseekblog.com which is running the bloghoster script , the support with bloghoster is HORRIBLE and you will definitely need to pay somebody else to tweak the script once you have any amount of traffic.The 2.7 version is god awful so dont even touch it.Also they dont even install it for you and support is zero.I have paid already $400.00 to other people to make the site work and we are still not done.

    I own http://bloggeo.org, I started with bloghoster and was quite satisfied, but tested WPMU and loved it, so I changed the whole system, and I'm so glad I did :)

    I was about to ask this same question, but I did some googling and found this thread.

    Please, what do you mean exactly by "full control"?
    Do you mean "full control" for the users/bloggers or "full control" for the administrator who runs the script?
    And in what way do you think Bloghoster is better than mu.wordpress in that matter?

    I am using Bloghoster and I'm having a terrible experience; not because the script is bad, but because:
    - it is very difficult to modify it to work with rtl languages like Arabic?
    - Also because they have zero support.

    But anyways, since this is nearly the first birthday of this thrid :) I'd like to rivive it and know what others think?

    What is the best multi-user blog hosting script out there - not nessecarily bloghoster or mu.wp - in terms of?

    - Support for other languages especially rtl languages
    - Security
    - Seo
    - adsense codes palcement

    Any opinion or bit of information would help...

    With wordpress mu domain mapper you are in full control just two free plugins and thats the 250$ extra earned
