Yeah, you can tell a lot by how people treat animals. It gives you a good idea of what they do when they have complete control (like in their police states).

Good point. If someone would abuse an animal because they are not in a position of power and cannot retaliate, they would probably treat humans the same.

Romney really showed his true colors in that clip. I love the Internet, because you can really cut through all the BS and really find out what candidates REALLY think about certain issues. Mitt Romney is as fake as Pamela Anderson's breasts.......

This is the same guy who "needed to consult his attorney" to decide whether or not to attack Iran. Ron Paul dropped a bomb on him, letting him know that, ummm, the Constitution requires you to go to Congress to get a declaration of War. Mitt Romney is a joke.

Marijuana is called the "billion dollar plant" and there is a reason for that. It is also the reason why it is illegal............the same reason why prostitution and online gambling is illegal.........think about it.........it doesn't have anything to do with morality or health folks, it has everything to do with taxes and money.....

Come to think of it, why is the guy in the wheel chair asking Romney about Medical Marijuana? The Constitution doesn't mention marijuana, which means that it is up to the states to decide. As president, Mitt Romney should have no say in whether or not medical marijuana is legalized or not.....and that comes from the 10th Amendment.

    Ron Paul isn't........

What's terrible about Romney is his absolute lack of passion and compassion. When GWB can get an endorsement from the Christian Right, but not Romney or Giuliani, you know these two candidates' morals are really questionable.

Agree with everything you said. Sometimes it gets frustrating fighting for medical marijuana rights when it seems like you are just taking what scraps they throw at you.

We need somebody who really cares. I think that can only be shown by actions, and the more of their actions you can see before they vote, the better. Haven't seen anything that made me think badly of Ron Paul yet... except maybe universal healthcare, I'm still out on that. Now that I've experienced a county emergency room in california I would be afraid of that becoming commonplace. On the other hand, I went to a private Kaiser Hospital and it was excellent, fast, and I felt safe (the other one I had a seizure when they left me in a room on a bed knowing i was about to have one, and I ended up with stitches in my head, losing my dl, more medical costs, etc... so, I definately want to keep those private hospitals in business, but for when you can't afford it, there should be something reasonable available. We don't skimp on police, fire, municipalities, but why do we not feel basic, good healthcare is a citizen's right?

Another example of the the devastation this war on drugs, like the war in Iraq, is costing Americans. We create a mafia per the former, and an absolute nightmare with the latter. More and more the Libertarians are starting to make sense to me.

    Wow.
There is much evidence that medical Marijuana helps reduce pain and suffering.

Thanks for sharing how heartless Mitt is.

Wow OP, great find on youtube...

Notice the way he delivers his one liner then walks away, and repeatedly refuses to discuss it further... Is that the kind of person we want in charge of the country? Someone that refuses to discuss issues?

What I never get is the way they justify it. "Marijuana has harmful effects on the body". So? Chemotherapy is basically killing your body partially while killing cancer, but we don't ban that in the name of justice, do we? We don't ban alcohol and tobacco and caffeine, all much more addictive than marijuana, and with worse health effects!

Like you, Dead Corn, more and more I'm realizing that libertarianism seems like they've had it right all along. Let people be free to fuck up their own lives, as long as it doesn't bother others. Haters can say how some libertarian ideals are crazy and would never work, but how do you know that? I know one thing for sure, I've seen America try the Democrat solution, and I've seen us try the Republican solution, and both fail miserably. Let's try something that actually makes sense, and is meant to benefit everyone equally, rather than an ideology and set of values meant to cater to and benefit special interests groups and a limited part of the population.

P.S. Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vc2R4D8jww From 6:55 until the end

Notice how a real statesman handles a similar situation. Don't run, don't dodge, just give your point of view. I wish more politicians would own up to the fact you aren't gonna convert everyone to your belief, and instead of trying to keep all your supporters by never really saying anything substantial, instead try and take the time to rationalize your stance and BRING THEM TO YOUR SIDE. Too many politicians, in this election race in particular, are careful to dodge the tough questions, spit out meaningless rhetoric, and move on from any attempt at clarification. There are a brave, passionate few among them that are confident they are right, and don't run from a fight.
