Isn't Gore the hypocrite whose electricity bill was 10 times higher than the average household?

Take a look at when most of the scientists who recieved Nobel Prizes actually did their work, then take a look at when Al Gore did his.

I'm a greenie, supporting Gore's efforts and everything, but I agree with that.

Maybe it's the war with the Earth?

And it wasn't just him, it was him and a UN team of people

Al Gore is a liar and a fraud. But when people like Yasser Arafat win this prize, I can't say I'm surprised they would give it to a scumbag like Gore.

Do you want to justify/provide reason rather than just labeling him as that?

    Not hardly.
If anything, it should go to someone like Cindy Sheehan. Don't get me wrong, when I hear her crows voice it makes my blood itch, but THATS the type of person this award SHOULD be going to. Not some freak like Al Gore.

This is just in the name of a good debate - anything I say is for purpose of a proper argument, not a heated flame.

Firstly, bias source. The article is sourced from http://newparty.co.uk/articles/inaccuracies-gore.html - The New Party

A bit of Googling gets me here:
    http://www.spinwatch.org/content/view/4340/29/

    and I quote:
If critics argue that global warming isn't happening, and can provide sufficient evidence and reason, then I am happy to listen. But to argue because a documentary is full of lies and that teachers who allow students to watch them is a CRIME, then this is just rubbish.

    Your turn :)

Oh I definitely agree. It's about time we stop teaching kids reality and fill their heads with partisan lies

That's the "crime" by the way that teachers can breach - what's the partisan lie?

How many billions of years old is the Earth? How long have we actually been keeping track of weather? 150 years at best?
How much has the temp. changed in the last 20 years? Like 1degree?

If the global warming thing was presented rationally and less 'in your face' style, then maybe I'd listen. Al Gore flies around the globe in his private jet promoting a movie and ideas that basically say we should all be riding bikes to fight global warming. Meanwhile, his electricity bills are 20times higher than the normal person.

I still remember this shit as a kid, this environmental insanity. I used to lay awake at night worried that the world was ending. They beat this shit into kids brains and it has a terrible effect on them. I will never ever forgive these militant enviro-wackos for doing this to me as a child.

I don't know how old you are lorien, but I'm 27.
I can vividly remember what it's like to be a kid and have this shit smashed into your brain. I was probably a candidate for fucking xanax at age 10 because of this propaganda. That was back then when it wasn't as bad. I can't even imagine what this level of propaganda would have done to my brain as a child. It's fucking bullshit.
