Can you be arrested if you put adsense in a warez site?

Because a friend of mine put it on his warez website (don't how how he did that), and i'm worried about him. Can he be arrested? He lives outside the USA.

His AdSense account can be banned and he can get arrested by someone else for running a warez site. It is not so easy getting arrested though.

Tell him to STOP promoting AdSense on that site. It is a waste of time and effort. What will he (or you) think when you do get some earnings built up in your account only to have it cancelled and banned?

On the subject of being arrested. Many people don't know that you can be prosecuted and arrested for click fraud. "FRAUD". If you cheat google they will most likely obviously ban you. But if you cheat someone else, by trying to get your competitor banned, they can sue you. And the person who completes the idiot actions are viable for prosecution. And if you inform the correct internet policing system, their local authorities will follow it up with them within a week.

There is no Google PD that I know of yet.. Nor is there a Google law or government.. You are free to do whatever you want, so long as you are abiding by the TOS.. Break the rules, and get banned... Arrested? No..

I have studied law. And am a qualified lawyer. If some low life competitor sits their clicking your adds to get you banned, well he can be prosecuted and convicted rather easily. Known as "Fraud" possible lengthy jail sentence.

Do attorneys read? Might want to re-read the thread.. Start with the original question. He did say anything about fraudulent clicks..

If it is a US server then he could be up for copyright infringement, Even if he isn't physically in the US.
