yup that's right, no need to upload, they will crawl the picture, just add alt tags, and the title of the picture.. sometime, visitor come to my blog by this way..
Can u actually upload images into google images?? i try dat whole jpg thing and still dont work cant see 2 understand how to do that.... How do u do dat?
Google takes ages to index image for me. My pages get indexed within days, my images within months...

actually, google images is a great way to get traffic. One of my blogs gets 40 uniques a day from strange google image results. Don't understand it but I don't mind it either
funny thread... how can it be so hard to understand that you don't have to upload pics to google? Google will crawl them. Just describe and name them properly.
Most everyone has said it, when you put a image on your site make sure to give it a alt tag, title tag, be descriptive about the image and it will be up there in no time.
Which tool you are talking about , can you share it with us , we don't need any tool add images in site with alt tags with specific niche and they will be indexed in google .
You can't upload images to google. If you want you're images to appear in the google image search result than just write a good title to the image using the alt and title attribute. Also, try to create some backlinks to that image with the image title as a anchored text. And also don't forget to sign up for google webmaster tools and to turn on the google image search (located Google webmaster tools/Dashboard/Settings) , like PaulB-IOM said.
