It is all about $$$, people poke their noses into other folks business because they are jealous. If you take note of most of the folks starting threads like this one it is those that are not successful and they consistantly harp and complain about an0n, chris and jeff because they are successful. I think you are wrong there, gooogle takes their own sidea and again it is all about $$$
you guys are way to deep into this... Grab a shower and take your girl out tonite rather then sit here and ponder if the web will still exist tomorrow
bobby9101- You should take this case to the customers and let them decide if it is too much money or ethical or unethical. As long as I receive more value from my investment, I think I would not complain about the fee. Only time will tell to the directory owners if their fees are too high and then they could modify some their fees according. I Vote By Not Submitting I also seen directories a lot more popular than the best around here and they charge no more than $50 for a lifetime review. On the other hand, I have seen other directories with a $500-$1000 yearly fee, but you know - the submitter can make 10X more by having a listing in certain directories. I guess some should based the fee according to the real value that you can give to your customers as long as your customers are to make that money back and much more (3x's at least, I think)
Why do you laugh? I sit here and laugh too, because google doesn't affect things as much as all of these jaded wannabes hype it out to be. Lets see... today I have eleven submissions. How many will make it remains to be seen. I will review them tomorrow. My livelihood does not revolve around google. I get traffic from every search engine out there. (check the bottom right link in my sig. it's on point with truth) I did get your PM and I will get back to you on that as well. My better half gets me now. I'm just browsing for a little bit to ensure everything is alright with all clientel.
Google took them out because the business model they were working on was unethical and no amount of bullying or blustering is going to change that. Google knows it, we all know it, they know it. Why try to deny it? The PR update that never happened and the serp's ambush are all about the unethical abuse of PR to sell value where there is none. No one is talking PR these days. Why not?
I laugh because of the panic, the mayhem, the chaos. Slaves to the "god" of the internet, suddenly their hero doesn't love them anymore, what is there to do? Fall on the sword or fix a few things and get back into the game? It would make a great movie
Has DP been on the binge all day? Ive been having problems threw out the day @ an0n did you see how many views that video has at youtube and 5 stars at that Im thinking i might have to make a video myself pretty soon great link bait thx malcolm
Google gave us ample warning prior to the action they took but no one was listening. They haven't banned those sites as far as I am aware and are once again giving us the time we need to fix things. Things like getting a message through to anOn that the DP member who shopped his site was doing us all a favour. I want to throw up everytime I read about all the $$$'s he is making. At whose cost? How many people have taken a bath they cant afford after following his example? Its time he was told to put a cork in it and more imortantly why.
Congrats bobby on your 17th birthday another year and youll be able to use PayPal like the big boys and charge what you want when you want.
I avoid posting on this forum. But some things need to be said and maybe its time more of us took a stand on these issues. Why do these threads always degenerate into a slangng match?
Another futile thread with nihilism, from the start which was about nothing, to end which was about nothing Now lets pick out any juice in the posts Next time i'll come along too to shoot some pool and drink a few beers Was that for the SUV ? Did I miss anything else of note in all the other posts
